ABERDEEN, S.D. – Men's Basketball Senior Donnell Minton has received the honor of POTW for the week of January 2nd - January 9th
Donnell Minton of Presentation (S.D.) was selected to the ninth edition of the North Star Athletic Association Men's Basketball Player-of-the-Week, announced by the conference office Monday. It was the second time this season that Minton received the weekly honor from the North Star.

Donnell Minton – Presentation (S.D.) – 6'0" – Senior – Guard – Indianapolis, Ind. – Minton had a stellar performance for Presentation (S.D.), despite going 1-2 record for the week. He kicked off the week with 20 points, 4 assists, 3 steals and 2 rebounds in an 86-83 road victory at NCAA Division III Minnesota-Morris. He followed that up with 29 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists in 73-63 road loss at Viterbo (Wis.). He scored his 1,000th career point during the game. Minton knocked down a career-high 57 points in a double overtime loss thriller at Waldorf (Iowa). He also had 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 assists in the game. For the week, Minton averaged 35.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.7 steals per game for the Saints. He was 36-of-82 field goals (43.9 percent), including draining 13-of-31 3-pointers (41.9 percent). He was also 21-of-29 from the free-throw line (72.4 percent). With his 25.73 PPG average, Minton ranks 1st in the NSAA and 3rd in the NAIA.
