Upon the release of the UMAC Preseason Preview, the Saints womens soccer team was picked 8th receiving 14 points and only two points behind Martin Luther and three points behind Crown College.
This season, Head Coach Bob Schuchardt will make his return to the coaching scene after a brief vacation from coaching. He will be joined by first year assistant coach Theresa Alexander. Alexander was a former standout goalie for Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD while and undergraduate. After receiving her degree from NSU she continued her high education at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.
The 2010 PC womens soccer team will feature both expereince and fresh talent. Seniors on this years squad will be
Amy Palmer and
Lynette Tarnowski, both of Aberdeen, SD. Along with the experience, the team will feature eight new additions including seven freshman to make up the 17-player roster.
The Saints will open up the regular season by playing Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, IA on September 3rd and with one of its largest and most talented teams, this years Saints squad will be looking to continue to progress from last years performance of 2-11 (1-10 in the UMAC).
