Celia Westphal Named Women's Assistant Coach

Celia Westphal enters her 1st season as the Assistant women’s basketball coach for the Presentation College Saints. Celia attended Northern State University and received her degree in Human Performance and Fitness in 2008. She then went on to complete her Master’s degree in Education in 2010, also at NSU. While working towards her Master’s degree, Westphal was the strength and condition program’s graduate assistant.
During her career at NSU, Celia played four years of basketball under Head Coach Curt Frederickson. She was twice named to the NSIC All-Academic Team, as well as 2nd Team All-Conference her junior season.
“I am very excited to have the opportunity to coach at PC,” commented Westphal. “I look forward to being part of the women’s basketball program and the entire Presentation College community.”
“Celia will be a great addition to our coach staff,” says Head Coach Alaina Benson. “Her playing and coaching experience from Northern State will be a huge benefit for our basketball program.”
