Arizona Sharpshooter To Join Saints Hoops

Presentation College and Head Men’s Basketball Coach, Jeremy Reigle, are pleased to announce that Tony Blackwell of Tucson, AZ, has committed to play basketball for the Saints this season.  

The Tucson Sahuaro High graduate played for Coach Dick McConnel, who has the most wins in Arizona high school basketball history. Tony averaged 14 points, four assists, and three steals per game and was selected 1st team all-region his junior and senior years. His senioryear he was selected to the 2nd team All-Arizona squad where he played in the all-star game and also won the three-point contest.

“We are excited to have Tony be a part of our program,” says Coach Reigle.  “We are looking for him to come in and compete for a starting position, he has a lot of energy, can handle the ball well, and has great range.”

Tony is the son of Bonnie Arnold and will be pursuing a major in Business while attending Presentation College.
