Presentation College and Head Women’s Basketball Coach, Alaina Benson, are pleased to announce that Mary Butler of St. Paul, MN, has committed to play basketball for the Saints this year. The St. Agnes High School graduate reached her 1,000 career point this last high school season and averaged 15.7 points per game along with 7 rebounds a game. Along with being named All-Conference, she was also selected to play in the Inner City All Star Class basketball game. Mary was also a three year captain.
“We are very excited to have Mary join the Saints next year. Mary has been a standout basketball player for the St. Agnes Aggies for three years and I look forward to having her be a part of our team. Mary shoots the ball very well from the perimeter, but can play the post game as well. Mary will give our team more diversity on the court and will be a great asset to the Saints basketball program and the Presentation College institution.”
Mary is the daughter of Jeannine Butler and plans on studying Nursing while at Presentation College.
